With GEMÜ SUMONDO multiport solutions, the actuator unit remains permanently installed in the system. The medium is hermetically sealed from the actuator thanks to the proven GEMÜ SUMONDO operating technology. Unlike a conventional M-block diaphragm valve, the two components that come into contact with the medium (valve body and diaphragm) are welded together. This creates the central component, the Single-Use valve body, which is separated from the actuator and disposed of after use.

GEMÜ KSUBH SUMONDO, GEMÜ KSUBA SUMONDO (single-use)
GEMÜ SUMONDO multiport technology brings the well-known advantages of multiport solutions to the world of Single-Use. Here, multiple valve seats are realized in the smallest of spaces, with minimal hold-up volume and maximum safety. Unlike conventional M-block diaphragm valves, the components that come into contact with the media, the block and the diaphragm, are welded together. This process, which has already been proven in single-use GEMÜ SUMONDO diaphragm valves, also enables the creation of a hermetically sealed media area, which is essential for Single-Use applications.
GEMÜ PSUA SUMONDO (Multi-USE)
The GEMÜ PSUH/KSUBH SUMONDO multi-port offers the option of installing the KSUBH single-use M-block recessed in the plant. The PSUH actuator unit is joined to the KSUBH single-use M-block media wetted unit, comprising a multi-port valve block and welded sealing diaphragm, by means of a manually operated clamping mechanism. The toggles themselves are designed to be detachable to prevent the block from being unlocked unintentionally and thus ensure process safety. After use, the media wetted unit can easily be disconnected from the actuator unit and replaced. The actuator unit remains in the plant. The actuator unit is partly completed machinery and is designed solely for installation in the customer’s own machinery and for mounting GEMÜ KSUBH single-use M-blocks.
