Mechanical engineering – from the idea to the finished product

DUAL STUDIES

Would you like to help develop and design industrial products and ensure that ideas become reality? Then the dual study program in mechanical engineering – general mechanical engineering at GEMÜ is just right for you.

Your dual study programme at GEMÜ

In the dual study program in Mechanical Engineering, you will be involved in product development from the very beginning – from the first sketch and CAD models to the finished assembly, working closely with experienced engineers from design, development, and production.

Starting in your second year, you can choose between exciting specializations such as design engineering, factory engineering, applied simulation, and product development – ideal if you want to focus your expertise in specific areas.

With your work, you will actively shape how we live in the future – for example, in the production of beverages or LED screens. These are just two of the many applications where GEMÜ valve, measurement, and control technology is used.
