Are you interested in metals, chemistry, and technology—and want to know how coating can make components more durable, harder, or more attractive? Then training as a surface coater (m/f/d) at GEMÜ is right for you.
As part of your apprenticeship as a Surface Coater (m/f/d), you will complete a three-year program in which you learn how to apply metals using chemical and electrochemical processes, protect materials, and specifically influence functionality or appearance. You will acquire theoretical knowledge in block lessons at the vocational school in Schwäbisch Gmünd, while gaining hands-on experience in our modern facilities – including the assembly of racks and fixtures.
A technical profession with a lot of responsibility – perfect for anyone who wants to refine materials and create striking surfaces.
After completing your training, you can work in various areas of our surface technology center.
You will also have the opportunity to continue your training as a technician (m/f/d) or master craftsman (m/f/d) or to specialize further by studying a technical subject.
