We are a valve manufacturer who primarily sells to the Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Food, Biotechnology, Semiconductor, and Water Treatment industries. From Vaccines to Smartphones to Coffee, our Valves and Measurement Control Systems are used in numerous production processes and play a decisive role in ensuring the quality of our daily lives and our health. GEMÜ currently employs over 2100 members of staff worldwide. Alongside our Manufacturing sites in Germany, GEMÜ manufactures its products in Switzerland, France, China, Brazil, and the USA. Our worldwide marketing is carried out across 27 subsidiaries, coordinated by our Headquarters in Germany. Thanks to a large network of Commercial Partners, GEMÜ is now active in over 50 countries on all Continents.

We are currently seeking a full-time Inside Sales Representative. The Primary responsibility of this position is to maintain and develop accounts, while handling quotes and sales within the current client base.

Job Duties:

  • Provide customer service in accordance with company policies/procedures
  • Data entry
  • Answer phones
  • Process/expedite quotations, customer orders, and returned goods for repair
  • Quotation follow-up
  • Problem resolution
  • Perform purchase order review
  • Utilize the order processing system to communicate customer requirements within the organization
  • Other duties as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree
  • 1-2 years or customer service experience
  • Basic computer skills
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, & customer service
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years of sales experience
  • Background in the engineering and/or industrial manufacturing
  • CRM experience

Work Schedule:

Business hours are 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Incumbent should be flexible as some early morning, evening, and weekend work may be required as determined by business need.
