Technology at the cleanroom plant in Emmen

At our facility in Emmen, we develop and produce plastic products for the medical systems sector, the pharmaceutical industry, the field of microelectronics and the semiconductor industry.

The site is used to produce fully assembled, packaged and approved plastic solutions, all the way through to sterile finished products for the medical industry or ready-to-sterilize products for the pharmaceutical industry, as well as valve system and measurement and control system components and products. The cleanroom plant offers the following performance profile:

Cleanroom capacity

  • Approx. 1,800 m2 of cleanroom space ISO 8 (in operation) and GMP Class C for injection moulding
  • Approx. 1,000 m2 of cleanroom space ISO 8 (in operation) and GMP Class C for assembly technology; this area can be adjusted locally to meet ISO 6 (in operation)
  • An additional 2,500 m2 are available for injection moulding and assembly technology under controlled ambient conditions (hygiene sector)

Injection moulding technology

  • Injection moulding machines with closing force of between 35 tons and 300 tons
  • Parts weight ranging from approx. 0.1 g to 1000 g
  • Wide range of equipment for processing fluoroplastics

Assembly technology

  • Automatic assembly systems and assembly stations
  • Manual assembly of semi-finished products through to checked finished products by specially trained cleanroom staff
