Along with spring tapping, wells and pumping stations, treatment and supply systems, how the water is stored has a considerable influence on the quality of drinking water. In contrast to the previously popular traditional concrete reservoirs, such as those typically found in water towers, large stainless steel tanks offer new prospects and improved quality features for municipal drinking water systems. The water tanks can be accommodated in a simple structure which is cheap to build and can be easily adapted, both structurally and visually, to fit the on-site conditions.
