This year, two GEMÜ subsidiaries have cause for celebration:

• 45 years of GEMÜ Sweden
• 10 years of GEMÜ Ireland

The GEMÜ Group is celebrating its 60th company anniversary.

The new, state-of-the-art office building was opened in June 2024 – a location where continuity and innovation come together to offer customers a unique experience and to provide employees with an attractive working environment.

GEMÜ India was established in July 2024 from the representative office founded in 2006.

GEMÜ Canada is celebrating its tenth company anniversary.

In 2022, the new GEMÜ subsidiary will commence operations and serve customers in Spain and Portugal.

This year three GEMÜ subsidiaries are celebrating their 40th anniversary.

As part of its global production concept, GEMÜ is expanding its production centre in Shanghai and continuing to develop its expertise in butterfly valves.

Under the motto "Innovation goes on", GEMÜ will celebrate its 55th company anniversary on 30th June 2019. GEMÜ has been an innovative company since day one and, now in the hands of the second generation, is making the transition into the digital future.

GEMÜ Malaysia commenced operations in March 2019.

GEMÜ has concentrated all its expertise in surface technology into a single location at the Hohenlohe business park in Germany.

The RFID solution for paperless maintenance,CONEXO, offers potential that extends far beyond the scope of the valve market.  Consequently, in October 2018, GEMÜ founds inevvo solutions, a start-up company that develops and markets Industry 4.0 solutions such as CONEXO.M

The representative office founded in 2003 became GEMÜ Taiwan in May 2017.

Thanks to its wide range of products, GEMÜ offers solutions for the most varied customer groups. Strategic business units are therefore created to operate in a way that is more customer-oriented.

In May 2016, a subsidiary is founded in Nagoya, Japan.

On 1st July 2015, GEMÜ opens its newest plant for manufacturing and administration, covering a total area of 21,000 m², in Shanghai, China.

In May 2015, GEMÜ opens another subsidiary in Mexico.

In December 2014, GEMÜ Ireland Ltd. commences operations in County Cork.

On the day of 30th June 2014, GEMÜ celebrates its 50th anniversary.

Gert Müller becomes Managing Partner of GEMÜ.

On 13th September 2013, the new Production and Logistics Centre is opened at the Hohenlohe business park (Germany) to supply all European customers directly.

GEMÜ opens its new clean room facility in Emmen, Switzerland, on 21st September 2012.

GEMÜ Switzerland, GEMÜ Sweden and GEMÜ Great Britain celebrate their 30 years of existence.

Gert Müller, son of company founder Fritz Müller, becomes Managing Director of GEMÜ.

Stephan Müller, nephew of Fritz Müller, becomes Managing Director.

Historic flooding in Ingelfingen's Criesbach district results in substantial damage. Thanks to the active support of a motivated team, this is quickly rectified, with all setbacks compensated for.

A major fire destroys the production hall. Production is resumed a short while later, with bridging operations carried out in a large tent.

Relocation to the company's first own manufacturing premises in the Criesbach district of Ingelfingen, Germany, where the building is built by the employees themselves after work.

Fritz Müller founds GEMÜ in the German town of Ingelfingen. The first plastic process valves invented by him are produced in his parents' garage and in the kitchen.
