Solenoid valves are designed for fast cycle duties and are particularly suitable for dosing applications. The major areas of use are the widest range of general industrial applications.
A solenoid valve is a valve that is actuated by an electromagnet. Depending on the type used, these valves can switch extremely quickly. Solenoid valves with position determination can be operated as servo valves. A trend towards the use of low voltages (24 V DC) and low power outputs through pilot control of the valves can be observed in industrial applications.
