Texas Regional Sales Manager - SEMICONDUCTOR

We are currently seeking a full-time Texas Regional Sales Manager – SEM. The primary responsibilities of the Texas Regional Sales Manager are to maximize sales through direct selling and selling through key distribution partners in order to manage, guide and lead OEM’s, engineering firms, and end users for product penetration and capturing additional market share.

 

Job Duties (including but not limited to):

  • Develop, market, and sell all GEMU product lines to all applicable accounts. Those products include the sanitary stainless-steel products, high purity cleaned and bagged products, industrial products, and instrumentation/automation lines.
  • Coordinate with other GEMU marketing and sales personnel to maximize branding, social media presence, marketing and sales effectiveness across distributors and direct accounts.
  • Promote value selling concepts and training with distributors, direct accounts, OEM’s, engineering firms, and end users ensuring appropriate use of resources/tools are available.
  • Utilize specialized distribution in conjunction with developing OEM accounts that offer profitable growth while minimizing conflict through distribution.
  • Conduct product and application presentations with product samples to key decision makers
  • Participate and set up meetings at industry tradeshows/events.
  • Travel required ~60% of the time building relationships with engineers, end users, decision makers, OEM’s, and distributors following up on opportunities to achieve targeted sales budgets.
  • Oversee distributor’s work at the end user and OEM level and be responsible for developing new accounts.
  • Call on end user accounts, OEM’s, and engineering firms to promote GEMU product with and without distributor sales personnel, either one-on-one or road show concept promotion.
  • Monitor sales and effectiveness and assist in overall budgeting process.
  • Assist in the creation and upgrade of catalogs/literatures of products.
  • Analyze and follow up with quotations and specifications for orders/contracts/projects.
  • Coordinate activities of OEM’s, end users, and distributors in the assigned territory.
  • Other duties as needed.

Work Schedule:

Incumbent should be flexible as some early morning, evening, and weekend work may be required as determined by business need. Some international travel may be required.

Essential Knowledge/Skills:

  • Internet and E-Mail Proficiency.
  • Understanding of Microsoft office.
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, & customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of Company’s mission, Core Purpose and Core Values, and the role of the employee in achieving them.
  • Read, write, and communicate using English language sufficient to perform job functions. (Other preferences will be given for special language skills when there is a business need)
  • Must be able to prioritize tasks, multi-task, and work well under pressure.
  • Plans, organizes and assigns priority to own work; recognize and meet deadlines.
  • Represents Company to customers, distributors and suppliers.

Qualification Standards:

  • Associates/Bachelors degree from a College or University
  • 3+ years of related experience in Regional Sales Management or Key Account Management Experience servicing the Semiconductor / Microelectronics industry

Physical Job Requirements:
