Automation Engineer (m/f/d)

GEMU GmbH is a subsidiary of the international GEMÜ Group. In Switzerland, we operate from our sales office in Emmen, from where we serve the Swiss market.

• Responsibility: Coordination of maintenance and servicing of existing production equipment
• Creative freedom: Analysis of ongoing production processes and independent implementation of continuous improvement measures
• Innovation: Design and conception of hardware and software for new automation solutions, e.g. handling processes for injection molding, assembly automation, in-process control
• Structure: Creation and maintenance of project documentation (flowcharts, electrical schematics, CE documentation)
• Technical depth: Programming of robots and handling systems, PLC programming
• Variety of tasks: Commissioning and testing of in-house automation solutions
• Collaboration: Support during factory and supplier acceptance tests (FAT, SAT)

• Basic training as an automation technician, electrician or in a related field
• Completed further education at HF level or equivalent (advantageous)
• Solid knowledge of PLC programming (preferably Siemens TIA)
• Experience in the design of electrical systems
• Strong service orientation and team spirit
• Experience in troubleshooting and fault rectification in a production environment or as a service technician
• Hands-on mentality
