Artificial Intelligence at GEMÜ

Information on the use of artificial intelligence pursuant to Article 50(4) of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (AI Act)

This website and all communication channels of the GEMÜ Group use images that have been created or edited, in whole or in part, using artificial intelligence systems.

This content is marked "AI supported"; the full marking reads: "Made by GEMÜ. Media created or edited with AI." The marking is displayed visibly on the image. All AI-generated or AI-edited images are reviewed and approved by a natural person before publication. Editorial responsibility remains with GEMÜ. Content published before 2 August 2026 is not subject to the marking obligation.

Artificial intelligence has become an integral part of how a modern industrial company works. We welcome this development, we build our own AI applications, and we are open about it — including where the European Union's AI Act requires disclosure. We do not regard that requirement as a burden, but as the right thing to do.

We use AI to illustrate. It allows us to make products, applications and connections visible that previously could only be shown with considerable effort, or not at all. The result is a more complete and more understandable picture of our work.

These AI tools do not work flawlessly; they interpret. We are aware of that. This is why one principle applies at GEMÜ: the final decision rests with a human. Every image is reviewed and approved before publication, even where AI played only a supporting role. The responsibility for what you see from us lies with us.

That is what our marking stands for: content created or substantially edited with AI carries the note "AI supported", written out as "Made by GEMÜ. Media created or edited with AI." Both belong together — openness about how a piece of content came about, and the assurance that a natural person at GEMÜ has reviewed it and stands behind it.
