Product information right at the valve

Customer reference | Quadax

From scan to documentation: Quadax makes butterfly valve information digitally available with the Digital Product Passport. Made possible by our DPP software.

Product information available digitally

DIGITALIZATION MEETS VALVE TECHNOLOGY

Quadax had a clear goal: customers should be able to access relevant information about their valves quickly, digitally and directly on the product.

Together with our Digital Business Team, this became an end-to-end solution: from the QR code on the valve, through the preparation of existing product data and documents, to the presentation in the DPP in Quadax's brand design.

How Quadax customers benefit from the Digital Product Passport

With the Digital Product Passport, we make relevant product information accessible directly on the valve. This gives our customers simple digital access to documents, data and service information.

From idea to DPP

Quadax and GEMÜ

Quadax provided product knowledge, data sources and customer requirements.

We took over the concept and technical implementation of the DPP solution. The result integrates into existing workflows, is prepared for future ESPR requirements and is easy to use.

Today, the valves are delivered with a QR code as standard.

Create your own DPP now

DPP directly on the product

In practice

The QR code connects the Quadax valve with the Digital Product Passport and makes product data, documents and certificates available at any time and from any location.

How it works:

  • Scan the QR code on the valve
  • Open the DPP in your browser
  • Retrieve information and documents

This is made possible by the GEMÜ DPP software: it provides product information in a structured way and makes it retrievable via a unique digital access point.

Extreme requirements,
reliable technology

The customer

Quadax develops and manufactures metal-seated butterfly valves for the highest tightness requirements, high pressures and temperatures from –270 °C to +800 °C, and supplies them worldwide for demanding applications.

By integrating the QR code on the valve, the company extends the physical product marking with a digital access point.
