Single-Use for the highest hygiene standards

Your perfect Single-Use solution

When maximum safety through the avoidance of cross-contamination and an efficient system design are essential, our Single-Use portfolio is the ideal choice.

From flow chart to solution

A P&ID is often the first step toward a new plant or assembly. This flow diagram gives rise to a wide variety of requirements, for example, regarding media flow, documentation, or interfaces. There is no one-size-fits-all solution for this diversity. Instead, we’ll show you four tried-and-tested ways to implement your plant concept with Single-Use components.

The P&ID shows the possibility of distributing or mixing media.

.

Pinch valves

GEMÜ Q30, GEMÜ Q40, GEMÜ Q50, GEMÜ Q51

We use pinch valves wherever process media are controlled by simple opening and closing. The medium only comes into contact with the tube, ensuring maximum purity and minimal maintenance. Different drive types and materials enable us to adapt the valves precisely to your processes.

.

GEMÜ SUMONDO Membranventile

GEMÜ SUMONDO: SUB, SUHK, SU40, SU60

The Single-Use diaphragm valve impresses with its reproducible control characteristics, which enable precise flow control and thus significantly simplify the automation of processes (such as media distribution or mixing).

.

Structure of GEMÜ SUMONDO

It consists of a valve body (disposable) that comes into contact with the media and a permanently installed actuator (manual, pneumatic or electric). After certain production steps or batches, the flow path can be easily replaced with integrated SUMONDO T-bodies to reliably prevent cross-contamination. This ensures maximum product safety without having to forego the proven GEMÜ diaphragm valve technology.

GEMÜ Multiport SUMONDO multi-port valve block

GEMÜ SUMONDO M-Block: KSUBA, PSUA, KSUBH, PSUH

When multiple media streams need to be combined or distributed in a confined space, Single-Use multi-port valve blocks are a compact and safe solution. The permanently welded connection between the block and the diaphragm creates a hermetic separation between the actuator and the medium, which is ensured by the proven SUMONDOtechnology . This solution enables a dead space-reduced application, reduces the intrinsic volume compared to single valves, and thus ensures minimal product loss.

Individual customer
Single-Use solutions

Special solutions that fit perfectly

Not every project can be solved with standard solutions. For special requirements—such as integrated sensor technology, special fittings, or challenging installation situations—we work with you to develop customized solutions. Design, validation, prototyping, and documentation are all provided from a single source. The result is a component that fits seamlessly into your processes.

.

Customer-specific flow path

Tailored to complex requirements

When several single-use components are connected to form a functional overall system, we refer to this as a flowpath. These assemblies combine standard products, special parts, and customer-specific solutions to form a ready-to-use unit – preconfigured, validated, and documented. Requirements such as gamma and X-ray sterilization, GMP compliance, and transport safety are taken into account right from the start.

In addition to disposables, we advise, develop, and manufacture the appropriate multi-use components for use in your flow path.

.

Four steps to the right solution

Understand requirements. Develop solutions. Deliver results.

To ensure that a Single-Use solution not only works but also fits seamlessly into your process, clarity, communication, and a common approach are essential. In four coordinated steps, we accompany you from the initial idea to the ready-to-use assembly—transparently and as a partner.
