With the foundation of GEMÜ Iberica S.L., GEMÜ is continuing to grow. The 28th subsidiary of GEMÜ commences operations on 1st July 2022. 

With the foundation of GEMÜ Iberica, the GEMÜ group is meeting the requirements of many customers in Spain and Portugal who are looking for direct local support. With their presence on the Iberian market, GEMÜ is pursuing the objective of intensifying existing customer relationships, as well as winning new customers.

GEMÜ Iberica has its headquarters in the Greater Barcelona area, from where it controls the sales activities on the Iberian peninsula. Managing Director of the new GEMÜ subsidiary is Angel Puentes, who has worked for GEMÜ for over eight years in various sales roles. In his previous function as Regional Sales Manager of the Industry Business Unit, he was responsible for sales activities for America and large parts of Western Europe.
