Customized and integrated: GEMÜ stainless steel multi-port valve systems

For 20 years, GEMÜ has been manufacturing innovative stainless steel multi-port valve blocks for sterile and hygienic applications in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. The complexity and fulfilment of end customer requirements through modern plant engineering would not be possible without this continuously developing multi-port valve block technology. Customised block solutions from GEMÜ for specific applications are designed to be compact, lightweight and with optimised draining. They possess a significantly reduced deadleg, have a low hold-up volume, no internal welds, provide increased product reliability and reduce the total cost of ownership. These properties allow complex, yet at the same time, cost-effective valve interfaces to be created with a wide range of functions. The combination of single valves and blocks provides significant advantages for plant designers. The video shows the differences between single valves/welding configurations and multi-port valve blocks as well as how selecting a suitable geometry means that flow charts can be created in the best possible way.
