GEMÜ Austria was founded on 9th October 2000 in Brunn am Gebirge with two employees and the clear objective of sustainably developing the market in Austria and Eastern Europe. With a great deal of commitment, dedication and vision, the company managed to gradually build up a solid foundation in the years that followed and to continuously increase sales.

GEMÜ Austria celebrated its 25th anniversary on 9th October 2025 and can look back on successful growth. The team at the Austrian subsidiary has grown to 19 members of staff who all provide comprehensive support in Austria and throughout Central and Eastern Europe. Over the years, GEMÜ Austria has established itself as a reliable and trusting partner.

The Austrian subsidiary has made a name for itself in the pharmaceutical sector. And that’s not all – together with sales partners and direct customers, the team is continuously developing the Industry and Semiconductor business units in Austria and is positioning itself as a dependable partner for further growth in the future.
