GEMÜ looks back on 60 successful years as a company, characterized by forward-looking innovations, customer orientation and products of the highest quality.

The invention of the first process valve made of PVC gives rise to a company that becomes the world market leader. Fritz Müller made history with his invention in 1963 and the founding of GEMÜ in 1964.
Over the past 10 years, with Gert Müller as Managing Partner, our company has experienced an impressive journey full of significant milestones and continuous growth.

Digitalization

GEMÜ has seen digitalization as a great opportunity right from the start. Innovations require continuous learning and further development. In addition to face-to-face training, GEMÜ supplements its offering with online video tutorials and virtual reality training.

During the coronavirus pandemic, GEMÜ developed a digital trade fair concept in 2021 in the form of a digital showroom. In 2022, the GEMÜ App was created, which can be used to access all data sheets and operating instructions directly on a smartphone.

Reorganization

In order to enable diversity and create customer proximity, the largest restructuring took place in 2016: a reorganization into individual business units and the creation of new departments.

Sustainability

Sustainability has played an increasingly important role for GEMÜ since 2011. Electric Smarts are used for factory transportation between the branches. Green engineering provides a comprehensive framework for making all aspects of the business process more sustainable.

GEMÜ has been CO2-neutral since 2021 - directly by reducing its own emissions, but also indirectly by offsetting them. In 2023, GEMÜ used over 6,300 PV modules on the roofs of its production and administration buildings worldwide to generate its own electricity.

New headquarters

In 2021, the go-ahead was given for the new and prestigious GEMÜ company headquarters in the Hohenlohe. The new building is the third GEMÜ headquarters after the production and logistics center and the surface technology center, this is the third GEMÜ building in the Hohenlohe business park.

The interaction of so many different people all over the world makes the quality and success of GEMÜ possible. This cohesion is also the foundation of the GEMÜ spirit. It is not only lived during everyday work but is also evident at many events.
