The GEMÜ PTFE/EPDM diaphragm code 5M has a two-piece design and consists of a PTFE face and an EPDM back. The PTFE used is a chemically modified second generation PTFE - called TFM ™. The diaphragm is available in diaphragm size 80 and has a threaded pin that is sintered into place with integrated screw-in stop. Furthermore, there are leak detection holes in the EPDM back as standard.
