La vanne à clapet à commande pneumatique GEMÜ S40 est conçue pour une utilisation dans des domaines d'application industriels. Elle dispose de formes de corps telles que des corps à siège droit ou incliné. L'étanchéité au niveau de l'axe est assurée par un élément d'étanchéité ensemble se positionnant de lui-même. On obtient ainsi une étanchéité fiable et nécessitant peu d'entretien, même après une utilisation prolongée. Tous les composants de l'actionneur (excepté les joints et les éléments structurels) sont en inox. Cette vanne est disponible avec les fonctions de commande « Normalement fermée », « Normalement ouverte » et « Double effet ». La vanne dispose en standard d'un indicateur optique de position, capot transparent compris.
