La soupape de décharge GEMÜ N085 protège l'installation et le système de tuyauteries contre la surpression et réduit les pics de pression. Le troisième embout de la vanne permet de la monter dans la ligne principale. Lorsque la pression augmente, le ressort se soulève et la vanne s'ouvre. La pression est réduite jusqu'à la valeur définie et peut s'échapper via le troisième embout dans une conduite secondaire. Lorsque la pression baisse, la force du ressort presse la membrane contre le siège d'étanchéité et provoque la fermeture. La force du ressort peut être réglée selon les besoins à l'aide d'une vis de réglage.
