Assembly of the GEMÜ 1435 positioner

Assembly of the GEMÜ 1435 positioner

For the GEMÜ 1435 ePos electro-pneumatic positioner, there are two types of electrical connection: A choice of cable glands or M12 connectors. The video explains how assembly can be carried out quickly and easily for the respective product version. It should also be noted here that the housing seal must be positioned exactly in the corresponding groove when closing the housing in order to ensure compliance with protection class IP65. You must also make sure that the inserted cables are secured using the cable glands. This ensures that the cable is not strained, while at the same time preventing the ingress of dirt and moisture. When fitting externally, the positioner can be placed at a distance of up to 30 metres away from the valve. Further information and practical tips are provided by the GEMÜ training team in a number of training courses.
